Thank you for considering taking one or more of the below ONLINE TRAINING courses which meet the regulatory requirements of the most restrictive States which is a minimum of 2-hours radiation safety training AND in California, the course must meet Title 17, paragraph 30337 requirements which include a 50-question written exam (80% passing required). California also requires a 25-task practical exam (80% passing) which is included with all of our Radiation Protection Programs (RPP), including California, contained in the RPP Training Folder or you can develop your own.
Each course is a video presentation by Steve Norris, Health Physicist which also includes audio and visual instruction. There are quizzes after most Lessons and a final 50-question written exam at the end of both the US and Canadian radiation safety courses. There is a 25-question written exam after both the US and Canadian 2-hour Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) courses. Each comprehensive State or Canadian RPP contains all of the training materials, in part, including exams (English & Spanish), exam key, 25-task practical exams for both x-rays used in the food processing and packaging industry, NDT testing and for x-ray machines used for security purposes.
OPTION 1: An “Individual” may purchase any course(s) below and get started immediately. You can purchase any course with any major credit or debit card. Alternatively if you have several operators who need to take a course “individually”, RCE can provide your company with an RFQ, you provide RCE with a PO (Net 30 days due) and then we will email your designee instructions that contain a course link and a coupon code for EACH course you ordered to gain “individual” access. This is considered the “INDIVIDUAL” Option.
OPTION 2: RCE can provide your company with an RFQ, you provide RCE with a PO (Net 30 days due) and then we will email your designee a “landing page” which contains instructions on how to administer a course with multiple attendees taking the course at the same time. A 50-page training handout is available with both radiation safety courses and a Training Certificate is available for printing upon successful completion of any course.
Please note a written RPP is regulatory required (see 10 CFR 20.1101 or your State equivalent Standards for Protection Against Radiation – see Radiation Protection Programs) for all facilities who own and operate any radiation generating device (RGD) like the industrial non-medical cabinet x-ray machines.
